Ad specifications and rates for 2008

Intuit publishes The Outsider two times per year. Please adhere to the following specifications when supplying camera-ready materials. "Camera-ready" applies to both film and digital ads that require no design assistance and that can be sent directly to the printer. A $75 design fee will be charged for any ads that do not meet these specifications. This includes scanning images from slides, photos, or transparencies. Additional half-tones are $15; typesetting and alterations are $50; and bleeds (full page only) are $75.

Electronic ads can be sent in the following file formats: PDF, Quark, jpeg, or tiff. Email to intuit@art.org. Printed proofs must be post mailed with color ads. Send to Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art, 756 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago IL 60622, ATTN: Outsider Ads.

and who instead are motivated by their unique personal vision. This definition includes art brut, non-traditional folk art, self-taught art, and visionary art.
